Q. How does it work?
  A. oncetel generates a temporary 'Personal number' and send all calls to that number through to your phone instead. This can be done for landline or mobile phones on any network. After the week is up (or you cancel the number), the calls will stop being redirected.
Q. What is a 'Personal number'?
  A. Personal numbers are those starting with 070. They are designed to be used as "permanent" numbers, which can follow you around even if you change your mobile/landline number. Rather than have to tell everyone you know your new number, you just tell the 070 number operator where to send your calls from now on.
Q. How much does it cost?
  A. It costs you nothing to set the number up. It will cost callers 35.63ppm daytime, 23.75ppm evening and 11.87ppm weekends inc. VAT from a BT landline without any discounts. Calls from mobiles and other operators may be charged differently.
Q. Can I redirect calls to my landline or my mobile?
  A. Yes. Calls can be redirected to a mobile phone on any network or any standard landline telephone number.
Q. Can I make a call with the number as my CLI?
  A. Yes! If you wish to make a call presenting your temporary number as your CLI then just dial your oncetel number from your phone and select the 'dial' option. Then enter the destination number and you will be connected.
Q. What is CLI?
  A. CLI stands for Call Line Identity. This is the number which shows up on your mobile phone when someone rings you. Not all phones are capable of displaying the CLI. There is an option on most phones to withhold CLI when calling if desired.
Q. Can I choose to keep my number?
  A. You can extend the life of your personal number for a week by ringing your oncetel number from your phone and selecting the 'extend' option. If you wish to have a permanent number for redirecting to your phone please visit www.inweb.co.uk and go to the NTS control panel. Alternatively contact Inweb Networks on 08000612222.
Q. Can I change where my number re-directs?
  A. Unfortunately you cannot change where your number redirects to. If you wish to set-up a redirection to another phone then just signup for a new temporary number.
Q. How can I cancel my temporary number?
  A. . To cancel you temporary number prematurely just ring your oncetel number from your phone and select the 'cancel' option. You will not be able to get your temporary number back so think before you do this.
Q. Can I get my personal number back if it has previously expired?
  A. You cannot get your temporary number back if it has expired. If you are interested in getting a more permanent personal number please visit www.inweb.co.uk for more information.
